Writing about to come
– was the official announcement of this blog entry for days now, however this is just partly true. The thing is, I feel I actually have not much to say – in words – how Prague has been for me. It was mainly catching up with a bunch of good old friends, taking Magali along and getting lost in this beautiful city. I didn t dive deep into czech history or politics, but therefore in the emotional architecture of stories we ve been telling to each other while walking the cobblestone pavements under a dazzling blue sky.
And for you « I ve drawn with light » – quoting the famous brazilian photographer Sebastião Salgado here.
So Magali & I stayed at Mathieu`s.
And there have been 2 other old friends around: Andrew and Amondine.
And together we explored the city´s hills and enjoyed the view the roof tops of Prague.
Taking the subway, being disgorged at the next stop
Which could be a cathedral or
or the city center or
a park next to the city center with an old friend of us – Alessandro playing those tunes.
After walking & exploring we needed a coffee – or two or
rest thoroughly on an umbrageous place under a tree.
And while we would vanish in sweet dreams we didn t notice the new friend we could have make.
Or our friends waiting for us to catch up.
We also met Michal – and actually his wife Martinka, but too fast she was gone again so my camera couldn t get her glimpse.
The rest of us took the subway again,
why never those cute trams?
However, making new friends on the way: Sako & Meliné.
In this funny „Nespresso Cup“ subway stations.
Michal replacing Mathieu as the guide.
Taking us over the ancient bridges,
beneath the ancient roofs,
to enjoy another spectacular view over Prague
hanging on Michal s intelectual lips
Slowly walking back, meeting travelers alike
Home sweet home at Mathieu´s
How to pass time on a roof top in Prague.
On the way to Tabor.
